Just when I decided all the slippers would be knit from worsted weight yarn doubled, DS came over with a bag of yarn he and his fiance picked out at Hobby Lobby for slippers. Included was "I Love This Yarn" Stripes in the Autumn Stripe colorway. This yarn would be better single. So off I go in search of the right pattern.
I had made Pantoufles Faciles from the website http://www.trieris.com/cfsj/artisan/ar-tri-pant-facile.html . The pattern is in French but there is a translation into English on Ravelry. I liked the slipper, but wasn't happy with the seam needed on the top of the foot. I put the pattern aside after one slipper.
I brought out the pattern and rewrote it to be made with a magic loop in the round. I just cast on.
