Team Spirit Scarf

Summer is sure going by fast. Saturday night I knit while watching the Packer preseason game so you know fall will be here before you know it. This month’s pattern will be a quick knit wool scarf in your favorite team’s or school’s colors. I made it for an eighth grade graduation gift for a friend’s daughter in the Oak Creek High School colors - blue and white. It would make a nice Christmas gift for a Badger fan in red and white or a Packer fan in green and gold.

School Spirit Scarf

With worsted weight wool and size 8 needles cast on 22 stitches with color A.

Repeat until second side is same length of first side ending with 16 rows of B.

Using color A put a fringe on the predominantly A colored side.
Using color B put a fringe on the predominantly B colored side.

The scarf is beautiful. I used Lamb’s pride wool. There are lots of ends to work in but it is worth it. I worked them in using a duplicate stitch.
